Top Ten
Top 10 Things I love about our new house in nore particular order:
1. Laundry Room! I have always wanted one! I'm such a nerd, but I think having a special place for laundry is sooo cool.
2. Upstairs/Downstairs. Growing up in tight spaces, I wanted an up and downstairs for my kids. The are getting pretty good at navigating the steps on their own now and hearing them shriek with laughter as they run above me, makes me so glad.
3. Back Yard. Its mainly flat and mainly toddler proof. Tall fence all the way around and room for them to burn off energy before bed.
4. Master Bath. It's tiny, but who cares?! I can hide my stuff and keep it however I like because nobody sees it! Plus, I don't have to worry that my flush in the middle of the night will wake any babies!
5. Benny's own room. I had a major case of mommy guilt when he was born that he didn't have any space to call his own. A tiny crib was all he had. I couldn't decorate even a nook for him in our tiny condo and now he has his own big boy room! Yay! (That mommy still needs to decorate) *Ahem*
6. Big Kitchen. The kids can eat in it and there is enough space for cooking/cleaning/playing at the same time. No more picking spaghetti out of carpet!
7. Hardwood floors. LOVE.
8. Storage. Since my mother told the world we were moving, people have been coming out of the woodwork with boxes of crap they have been storing for me. I remember asking a few relatives to store tupperware bins of clothes/yearbooks/jr. high turtle collections; but it has really added up. Now that we have a garage and a storage shed in the yard, we will have all of our "stuff" with us for the first time. It's about time to do inventory and purge a bit.
9. Neighbors/hood. This is a great neighborhood and not coincidentally 5 houses down from one of our favorite couples/family. They have a son who is betrothed to my Gracie and a newborn. We've been here 2 weeks and already there have been a ton of impromptu play dates, which I love. Such a fun experience to have good friends and safe neighborhood!
10. Decorating! We don't have a lot to spend, but this house is like a blank canvass feeding into my need to decorate and shop all the cute etsy stores/blogs/websites and catalogs that I love! It's a legitimate reason! I even get to buy sometimes!

Two Weeks in Review
I feel so behind in every aspect of life right now. So it's no surprise, my little blog has fallen behind as well. On the 5th we packed up and moved about 5 minutes away. Its a great house on a street where dear friends already live! My cousin is renting our condo to make this possible and I am so thankful. We have a huge yard and it will be a blast this summer. I LOATHE moving, but we had a lot of help and Gracie and Tater pitched in where they could:
Before anything was unpacked I went to New Orleans with my MoM friends and had a much needed vacation. I got in touch with that "old me" from my pre-children days. We slept in, danced all night, shopped with reckless abandon-it was wonderful! I only cried a few times missing my kiddos. When I got home they looked so much older and bigger! *sniffle*
Now we are knee deep in the unpacking process. We broke down and bought oil for heat since the space heaters weren't cutting it. The fuses kept blowing and it was driving me crazy, I still don't think the furnace is working though. We have bought a few rugs and things, but it still doesn't look like home yet. Its hard to get anything done with toddlers! News flash, I know.
Yesterday we got them two awesome additions to the new back yard, though! My mom got them a bouncy house and a play house for early birthday gifts and we were loving the bouncy house lasts night.
Finally, we are planning a little gathering for Benny's dedication at church. I am so excited to actually invite people over and not be embarrassed about our lack of space, He is 7 months old already and playing with G and T more every day. I love it.

I'm Back!
Sort of.
I came home to a very cold house with no heat or hot water.
My hubby did a fantastic job while I was away(including microwaving enough water for Benny to get a bath!)
Alas, the loads of laundry, piles of diapers and mounds of dishes are an aftermath I need to deal with. Hopefully, I'll be back for real tomorrow with a better post and recap of my trip!

Drive By Posting
We moved!
Long story short, we had the opportunity to move out of our tiny condo and into a rental house 3 times the size! So I have been AWOL with no internet, and running around toddler proofing and trying to get the house set up.
I am also leaving in the morning for New Orleans!! I am traveling by myself(!!!) to meet a group of other M.O.M.s from across the country. So excited to meet all of these women who have so inspired, entertained, and encouraged me over the last 2 years! We are going to have an amazing time, and though I'll miss my little ones dearly, I think daddy will handle it just fine.
So, I'm off to unpack and pack some more! see you Tuesday!

Potty Chairs
The twinnies have been showing some interest in the potty, and telling us from time to time if they have to poop. There was an awesome online sale, so I bit the bullet and ordered them. I am terrified of this whole process and am in no way going to push it. We have gotten naked and sat on the the chairs a few times, but no um...successful uses yet.
And now I am realizing about blogging about my kids' poop again. This is depressing what my life has come to.
ANYWAYS. The chairs have been more functional as toys this week and they are having a blast teaching puppy and baby to use them properly.
